Dinky Space 1999 Eagle Heavy Lift Boosters (set of four)

NO POD!

This is a set of four Heavy Lift Boosters which you can attach to your original Dinky Passenger Pod.

These are modeled by me to be as accurate as I can manage with the scale restrictions, to pods and accessories seen in the TV series "Space: 1999". They are scaled to fit Dinky Eagles (from the early 1970s) and fit very nicely to the original (or my model) Passenger Pod.

(NOTE: As your vintage pod is somewhat valuable, I do not recommend gluing these boosters to your pod. Use poster putty or double-sided tape so they can be safely removed without damaging the paint on your Dinky Pod.)

They are rugged and can be played with, though of course, can be broken if treated too roughly. They are 3D printed on my home 3D printers (Afinia H480) at .15mm layers, in ABS plastic in various colors. No painting required.

This set is sold ASSEMBLED.

Includes:

- 4 Heavy Lift Boosters

Does NOT Include:

- Dinky Eagles. Sorry, you must find these yourself. If you're interested in these pods you likely have one or more already. These, by the way, are some of the finest Dinky toys ever made. Any fan of Space: 1999 loves these, though they sometimes argue about the poor green and blue color choices. These are readily available on eBay and other collectible sites and shops. Beloved by all!

PLEASE READ:

1) This set is sold ASSEMBLED.

2) I will include some spare tiny parts because pieces CAN fall off.

3) These are NOT RESIN MODEL KITS. They are toys, and augment your Dinky Eagle collection beautifully.

4) These are printed on home 3D printers, and as such visible layer lines can be seen. There can be some warping, but this usually does not detract from the beauty of the pods. The white plastic nicely matches the Eagles.

5) No painting is needed. The colors are printed in various ABS Plastic Colored Filaments. (Though you can paint if desired.)

those pods. Gluing them to vintage pods may damage the paint and that would be a shame!
